Rosie plays acoustic guitar and sings alto vocals. She also writes and arranges the songs, and is inappropriate
Rosie has developed her compositional skills through generally being unbearable, thus having no friends, thus having an awful lot of time to herself. Her inimitable style is influenced by the likes of Bowie, Pink Floyd, Chumbawumba, Nina Simone, The B-52's, The Beatles, Kirsty MacColl, Tori Amos, Joan Baez and the Baroque & Classical greats. And Joseph's Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. And the Thundercats theme tune.
As well as having an astonishing voice, Rachel is also a committed academic. She has recently successfully completed her PhD. If you get the chance, ask Dr. Duncan about your rash - go on, she'll think it's reeeeally funny.
Rachel sings soprano. She also plays percussion and a bit of mandyling. Her superpower is keeping pieces of paper flat
Helen plays cello and sings if she has been good. If she is naughty her microphone is taken away.
Helen has played in orchestras since the age of 11, and while living in Zimbabwe played in the Harare City Orchestra. Her exquisite instrumental skills complete the unique 'Invocal' sound. Her growing contribution to the vocal harmonies as a secondary alto is proving a great success, and she is secretly hoping she will soon be 'spotted' and employed as Toni Braxton's understudy.
Sarah has studied acting at Arts Educational Schools, London. Her theatrical and musical skills are suited perfectly to Invocal, but her tap dancing only brings misery and confusion. Lately she has started showing signs of a diverse songwriting talent, her astonishing debut "Horse In A Box" being recently followed up with "Horse In Some Socks".
Sarah has now left the band to mayke a baybeee.
